Credit Card Approval over the INTERNET

* SYSTEM INFORMATION

ezTCP can be embedded in a credit card machine.
If you want to send the credit card information and get approval, Internet (or network) communication module has to be contained within your device.
In this system, ezTCP received data from the credit card device (reader), and send it to the remote server for approval.

Monitoring remote automated fare collection systems

Nowadays, application of Automated Fare Collection system (AFC) is spreading in subway stations or huge libraries.
Each machine counts numbers or collects information.
If you need to show statistics or monitor them in real time, ezTCP will help you.
ezTCP connects machines to the Internet in order to get the information in everywhere.
This system will be required in more places than now.

Monitoring devices' console ports

* SYSTEM INFORMATION

This system is a monitoring for devices which have serial console ports like a router.
ezTCP sends the messages from console ports to the remote server and vice versa.
Because almost all of ezTCP series have security options, users can prevent access by unauthorized system or person.

POS System

This system uses Ethernet or Wireless LAN type module of ezTCP so that users connect POS system devices like a barcode scanner or a small printer to the Internet.
Any kind of shop which use POS devices can apply this.

Central Remote Patient Monitoring System

In general, temperature ranges are classified under three types.
The range can be divided as Commercial, Industrial and military ranges.
All the products is designed considering it.
This may related with its purpose.

The specification of each range is followed.

1. Commercial Temperature Range
Temperature Range: 0 ~ 70 degrees centigrade
Applied Products: Most ezTCP series

2. Industrial Temperature Range
Temperature Range: -40 ~ 85 degrees centigrade
Applied Products: CSE-H25
(CSE-H21 guarantees operation temperature from -40 to 70 degrees centigrade)

3. Military Temperature Range
Temperature Range: -55 ~ 125 degrees centigrade
Applied Products: Not Yet

When using ezTCP with your PC or other network devices via IP share router, some setting are needed on it.
The user interfaces of routers can be different even if the router produced one company.
However, I would like say that all the setting is similar to each other and we know about which items are needed.

Today, I'll introduce the model "WHR G54S" which is produced by BUFFALO on this post.

The system which will be described is like this

1. Access the configuration interface.
Run your web browser and input the IP address. This address can be changed.
A window like below will be created.
Input "root" on the User name then click [OK] button.
This is the default value. If another value is set, input the setting.

2. Basic setting

If you log-in the system, you can show above page.
Click the [Advanced] menu.

Select [WAN Config] -> [WAN Port].
Select one of your method of acquiring IP address.
And set the [Port Number for WEB Configuration] for remote configuration.
"8080" is just an example.
If this value is set, you can connect this window wherever you are via Internet.

3. NAT setting

Click [Network Config] -> [NAT].
Press the [Edit NAT Table] button.

Set the parameters like the values in the red rectangle.
And then, [Add] button lets you add the setting on NAT Table.

If the port (TCP 1470) is confirmed, add UDP 50005 port.
* TCP 1470: For TCP connection and communication
* UDP 50005: For Remote search on ezManager (ezConfig)

4. Check IP address of Router

Click [Diagnostic] -> [System Info].
You can find the IP address for WAN port.
This address is assigned into the router. However, we use it to access ezTCP remotely.

5. Remote Access
Run ezManager and set the values on your ezTCP like above figure.
It's an example, too.
If you want to use this NAT option, you had batter input the IP address manually than auto acquiring it by a DHCP server.
If you connection of Internet is fine, you can search you ezTCP with the IP address of router (G54S)
Input the IP address on IP tab of ezManager.
Then, press the [Read] button.
Not only you search the ezTCP but also you can connect to the device wit TCP.

Temperature Test of CSE-H25

 

CSE-H25 is a new external serial device server, and it will be introduced soon.

This model is developed with durability under extremely low and high temperature.

The standard of the industrial temperature range is from -40℃ to 85℃

This test was implemented under the conditions and the humidity was variable in high temperature.

 

In July second, we test the matter at the Small and Medium Business Administration in In-Cheon, Korea.

 

The test was lasting for six hours.

 

Test Items

 

* Confirm the PING Reply in 500 times without any losses

* Confirm the TCP connection

* Confirm if the product can be searched by ezManager

* Confirm the data communication without any losses

* Check above items after the product reboots

 

Test Circumstances

 

* -40℃ (with no humidity)

* 85℃ (with 10% humidity)

* 85℃ (with 95% humidity)

 

Test Result

 

* All the items are satisfied under all the circumstances.

 

CSE-H25 works well under the industrial temperature range.
